Nexon is rumoured to be working on a new game titled Project DW. Project DW will be a free-to-play open-world action RPG inspired by the Dungeon and Fighter series. Although there is currently no information about the project, it is known that a South Korean developer is currently working on it.
If you didn’t know, Dungeon Fighter Online (DFO) is a multiplayer beat ’em up action role-playing game developed and published by Neople, a South Korean subsidiary of Nexon. It was originally released in South Korea in 2005 and later published in Japan and China.
In 2014, Neople started an alpha test for a global version of DFO, which has since ended. DFO is one of the most-played and highest-grossing video games of all time, with over 850 million players worldwide and over $20 billion in lifetime revenue as of December 2021. It has also been adapted into anime and manga.
It is no wonder which so much popularity, the newest addition to Dungeon and Fighter Series made by the original developer Nexon is going to be so hype right?
Project DW is expected to be released not only in Korean but also globally for mobile and PC platforms, so be sure to check out our site for more information.
