Fans of the ASUS ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro can rejoice because both phones have received the Android 13 update! The ASUS ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro are high-end gaming smartphones that need no introduction to gamers.

These devices were released in July of last year and have now received the Android 13 upgrade. They follow in the footsteps of ASUS’ non-gaming products, Zenfone 9, Zenfone 8, and Zenfone 8 Flip, which received the same upgrade as promised by the company in November last year when they published their update timetable.

In December, the Zenfone 9 was the first to receive Android 13, followed by its predecessor in mid-January, and February became the month for ROG. The latest update, which includes Android 13, is designated as 33.0610.2810.72 for both the ROG Phone 6 and the ROG Phone 6 Pro.

Update ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro to Android 13:

It may take a few days to reach all devices out there. In the meantime, if you can’t wait, you can manually check for the new software update by going to Settings > System > System update.

Remember that if you want to revert to Android 12, you’ll need to wipe all your data, so it’s best to back up before upgrading to Android 13, just to be safe.

ASUS ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro users may now experience new Android 13 features such as a new privacy mode, increased security, and bug fixes with this upgrade. Therefore, keep an eye out for this update and enjoy a better gaming experience!
