Sons of the Forest Plot Explain

The plot revolves around the discovery of a Golden Cube with otherworldly properties by Edward Puffton, CEO of Puff Corp. After purchasing the island where the cube is located in a bidding war against Sahara Therapeutics, Puff Corp built an underground resort on the island where researchers worked hard to uncover the cube’s secrets.

The cube is hidden behind a set of golden doors that can only be unlocked with a Golden Armor set and is responsible for the mutations happening all over the island. The cube can also transport humans to other dimensions, as seen in a looping video at the facility where the VIP Keycard is obtained.

In the game’s ending, the player and any companions become trapped inside the cube as it transports them to an alternate dimension for a brief period, while the antagonist outside mutates into a Sluggy.

As you navigate the island, you’ll have the chance to discover more about the cube, the Pufftons, and the events leading up to your arrival. With danger lurking around every corner, be prepared to fight for your life and unravel the island’s secrets in Sons of the Forest.
