Samsung Galaxy M42 5G, the phone released in 2021 with One UI 3.1 based on Android 11, is now receiving a stable update to One UI 5.1 based on Android 13.

This update has firmware version M426BXXU4DWB1 and requires a download of about 1GB. The update comes with One UI 5.1 features and the February 2023 Android security patch.

The One UI 5.1 update for Samsung Galaxy M42 is currently being tested in India but should soon be available in other countries as well.

If you haven’t received the update yet, you can check manually by going to Settings > Software update on your phone.

The One UI 5.1 update for Samsung Galaxy M42 5G will provide a better user experience for its users. With this update, users can enjoy new features and the latest security fixes needed to keep their phone secure. Do note that this update is going to changes more things for better performance
