After being announced in September last year, the highly anticipated mobile port of the horror adventure game Little Nightmares experienced a delay. It has been reported that Little Nightmares Mobile will now launch later this year.
The official tweet from Playdigious, the developer of the port, claimed that the delay was made to polish the game. They want to make sure that the mobile edition of this beloved game is in good condition when it finally launches.
Little Nightmares Mobile – Horror Adventure
If you’re not familiar, Little Nightmares is a narrative horror exploration game with a few puzzles. You’ll play as a child wearing a raincoat inside a confusing world as you climb aboard a huge ship full of creepy humanoid creatures who all seem to want to eat you.
As you unravel the mysteries of the ship, you’ll realize that not everything is as it seems in the world of Little Nightmares.
The announcement of this mobile port has been greeted with a lot of positivity, as adventure games that are easy to play and only require two or three buttons are usually well-suited for mobile devices.
When first announced, Playdigious stated that they plan to make controls a priority and that the game will be comfortable to play on mobile devices, so perhaps this delay was made to finish those controls.
Regardless of the reason for the delay, it’s not too long as long as it stays within the planned timeframe later this year. Once again, Little Nightmares will be released and playable on Android and iOS!
