Genshin Impact banner phase 2 has introduced two new Cryo characters, Ayaka and Shenhe. These two characters work synergistically with Ayaka as the main DPS and Shenhe as the support DPS Cryo. For F2P players, it’s important to consider whether or not it’s necessary to gacha in order to save primogems.
If you are already a fan of Ayaka, then you don’t need to read further. However, if you are unsure about whether or not to gacha for Ayaka, here are some reasons to consider.
Ayaka is a reliable Main DPS.
Although she is no longer in the meta, Ayaka is still one of the best options for a freeze team. With good artifacts and a compatible team, Ayaka can deal massive damage. In fact, she is currently one of the best Main DPS characters in Genshin Impact.
Ayaka is F2P-friendly.
In addition to her impressive damage output, Ayaka is also one of the most F2P-friendly Main DPS characters. This is because she can deal significant damage with just the Blizzard Slayer artifact and Amenoma Kageuchi, a craftable weapon.
Ayaka is great for exploration.
Ayaka is not only a powerful Main DPS character, but she can also be used for exploration. She has a sprint ability similar to Mona’s that allows her to travel quickly by diving into the ground. Additionally, she can freeze water by dashing on its surface, making her a valuable asset for crossing bodies of water.
Ayaka’s playstyle is organized.
In a team, Ayaka typically serves as the Main DPS and is considered a hyper carry character. As a result, other team members are usually support characters who enhance Ayaka’s damage. This means that you must organize your team’s rotations carefully to maximize Ayaka’s damage output. This will help you develop a more organized playstyle that is important in Genshin Impact.
Ayaka’s Better than Shenhe
Ayaka and Shenhe are both Cryo characters in Genshin Impact’s phase 2 banner. Ayaka is a Main DPS (damage-dealing character) with strong Cryo abilities, while Shenhe is a support DPS (support character with some damage-dealing abilities).
In terms of their abilities, Ayaka is generally considered to have higher damage output and is more versatile than Shenhe. Ayaka’s elemental burst ability, Kamisato Art: Soumetsu, can deal massive AoE (area of effect) Cryo damage and also create a frozen field that can freeze enemies and help her allies deal more damage. Additionally, Ayaka has a unique sprint ability that allows her to move quickly and evade attacks while also dealing Cryo damage to enemies in her path.
On the other hand, Shenhe’s abilities are focused more on supporting her team and providing Cryo damage through her elemental skill and burst.
Other considerations to keep in mind include Ayaka’s team composition, which should include members that bring TTOD, Water Enabler, Noblese, and Milelith to maximize her damage potential. If you can complete Spiral Abyss 12 Full Star, then Ayaka may not be your top priority. However, if you are still working on it, Ayaka could be a great gacha option for you.
Overall, Ayaka is a fantastic character to have in your team, and there are several reasons why you should consider pulling for her in Genshin Impact.
