Here’s the reason why Zippyshare close their service. After 17 years of providing a popular file-hosting service for downloading songs, movies, and games, Zippyshare has announced its closure.
Zippyshare has been known for its simplicity and ease of use, allowing users to download files up to 500MB without the need for an account. However, we must now say goodbye to this beloved service as Zippyshare is set to shut down its servers at the end of March.
Why Zippyshare Close their service, This is the reason!
Several factors have contributed to the shutdown of Zippyshare’s servers, with financial issues being the primary concern for the company. The cost of electricity to run the servers has increased by 2.5 times, while revenue from advertisements has decreased. Many Zippyshare users have been using ad-blockers or DNS that prevent ads from loading correctly, which is the main source of revenue for the site.
About Zippyshare
Zippyshare began its free file-hosting service in 2006, alongside other popular sites like 4shared. Despite its competition, Zippyshare remained a favorite among users because of its simplicity and ease of use. However, after 17 years in operation, Zippyshare has to end its services.
For those who still have files on Zippyshare, it is recommended to download and backup all files before the site closes. Don’t risk losing any files that you have stored there for a long time. Hopefully, with the end of Zippyshare’s services, there will be other better and safer alternatives for downloading files for free.
