ZTE has recently revealed the design and key specifications of its upcoming smartphone, the nubia Z50S Pro. The company has confirmed that the phone will be launched on July 20, and it promises to be an exciting addition to the nubia series.
The nubia Z50S Pro will come equipped with a custom-made main camera with a 35mm equivalent focal length and a 1″-type sensor. It is speculated that this camera will be an evolution of the 35mm camera featured in the nubia Z50 Ultra. The phone will also feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, but it will not have some of the advanced features seen in other nubia flagships, such as curved sides or an under-display camera.
According to official teasers, the nubia Z50S Pro will house an 80W fast-charging 5,100mAh battery, and a 6.78-inch screen with a 1.5K resolution (1220p), boasting a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
However, the standout feature of the nubia Z50S Pro is undoubtedly its new 35mm camera. The camera will have a 1G+6P lens with a seven-piece aperture, one glass, and six plastic elements. Although details about the sensor are scarce, the company has confirmed that the aperture will have a diagonal opening of 5.21mm, making it “the biggest in the industry.”
The nubia Z50S Pro is expected to be a standalone device, with a design that sets it apart from the vanilla Z50 or the Z50 Ultra. With only a few days to go until the launch, we can expect to hear more exciting details about the nubia Z50S Pro in the lead-up to the event. Stay tuned for more updates on this highly anticipated smartphone release.
