Tech enthusiasts who were eagerly awaiting the iQOO Z8’s arrival got a pleasant surprise when the company announced that the smartphone’s unveiling date had been moved up. Originally anticipated for a September launch, the iQOO Z8 is now set to make its debut on August 31.

When it comes to the heart of the iQOO Z8, the smartphone will be powered by the robust Dimensity 8200 SoC. Alongside this, the device will boast a considerable 12GB of RAM and a generous 512GB of onboard storage. While these specifications are confirmed, there’s also a possibility of more memory options in the pipeline that are yet to be officially revealed.

Additionally, it keeps the 3.5mm headphone jack alive, a feature appreciated by many. The top of the phone also houses what appears to be an IR Blaster. For added convenience, the phone’s side will host a fingerprint scanner.

The grand reveal of the iQOO Z8 is just around the corner, with August 31 marked as the date for the event in China. The unveiling is scheduled for 7 PM local time.
