Fortnite has a knack for teaming up with major franchises, from Star Wars to Marvel, and has successfully hosted various themed events over the years. Now, Fortnite is embarking on a new collaboration with Star Trek, and they’re bringing the renowned artist Kid Cudi into the mix with an exciting event known as “Mirror Mayhem.”
Mirror Mayhem: Unveiling Kid Cudi’s Latest Single in Fortnite
During the Fortnite x Star Trek: Mirror Mayhem event, Kid Cudi will introduce his newest single, “Heaven’s Galaxy.” This song, inspired by Star Trek, is a previously unreleased gem from the INSANO sessions album.
The exact manner in which the song will make its debut in Fortnite remains a bit mysterious. It could pop up on the in-game radio or be part of a special mini-event.
It’s worth noting that this event is not officially sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Epic Games, as indicated at the bottom of the event poster. Such unofficial collaborations are not uncommon in Fortnite’s history.
No Star Trek Characters in Fortnite for this collaboration
Since this collaboration isn’t official, the Fortnite x Star Trek: Mirror Mayhem event featuring Kid Cudi won’t offer Star Trek-themed goodies like character skins or event-specific cosmetics. However, there’s still a chance that items or weapons inspired by the Star Trek universe may find their way into Fortnite’s loot pool.
