Redmi 13C 5G Suddenly Found in IMEI Database

The IMEI Database has brought to light the Redmi 13C 5G model, catching everyone off guard. Thanks to Kacper Skrzypek’s revelation, we now have insights into this new addition. The Redmi 13C 5G is set to feature the Dimensity 6100+ SOC. To keep you in the loop, there will be two versions of the Redmi 13C – a 4G and a 5G variant. Let’s dive into the nitty-gritty details.

Introducing the Redmi 13C 4G and Redmi 13C 5G

Initially, we spotted multiple Redmi smartphones in the GSMA IMEI Database, which I mentioned a few days back. Thanks to Kacper Skrzypek, the mystery around the processors powering the ‘air’ and ‘gale’ devices has been unraveled.

Now, we’re in the know. The Redmi 13C 5G, sporting the codename ‘air’ and internal model number ‘C3V,’ is gearing up for an official debut across various markets. Let’s take a closer look at the model numbers we’ve dug up from the GSMA IMEI Database.

Initially, it seemed like these model numbers belonged to the Redmi 13C 4G. However, it appears our assumptions were off the mark. The model numbers that match the Redmi 13C 5G are as follows: 23124RN87C, 23124RN87G, and 23124RN87I. This 5G device is set to hit the shelves in Global, Indian, and Chinese markets.

With a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SOC under the hood, this smartphone is anticipated to be an affordable Redmi model. It will make its debut with MIUI 14 based on Android 13, with the initial launch taking place in China.

So, what about the Redmi 13C 4G model? We’ve also identified its model numbers in the GSMA IMEI Database.

Spec from Redmi 13C 4G

The Redmi 13C 4G is destined for Global and Indian markets, with no plans for a Chinese release. As mentioned earlier, it goes by the codename ‘gale,’ and the model numbers you should keep an eye out for are 23100RN82L, 23108RN04Y, and 23106RN0DA. Additionally, the POCO C65 will be a rebranded version of the Redmi 13C, and both phones will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G85.

Out of the box, you can expect these smartphones to run MIUI 14 based on Android 13, and they are likely to feature a 50MP primary camera. Whether or not this version is getting the same spec, we didn’t know yet.
