What’s Iron on Derelict?

In Derelict, Iron is a precious resource essential for boosting your weapons and armor. It’s wise to start gathering Iron early in the game. Once the initial phase is over, you’ll be left to navigate the hostile landscape on your own. Brace yourself for upcoming dungeons and bosses by spending some quality time exploring the caves where Iron can be found.

Where to Find It?

Hopefully, you’ve got a decent handle on Derelict’s layout by now. If not, don’t fret – we’ve got you covered with the Derelict Map in another post. Your destination is the Feeding Grounds, one of the game’s key locations. Most of your mining efforts should be focused here to level up your Mining skills and, of course, to unearth that precious Iron!

Starting from the West-facing Bonsai, spot the ribcage at the Feeding Grounds. Take the left path of the ribcage and descend beneath the bone remnants. Look for the Snails Nest to the right of the Nest, and beneath the ribcage, you’ll find The Salt Caves. That’s where you’ll strike Iron.
