OnePlus 12 Camera Spec with Sony LYT-808 Sensor

The highly anticipated OnePlus 12 is on the horizon, particularly in the Chinese market, as evident from the recent influx of leaks and official teasers. OnePlus itself has taken to Weibo to showcase the phone’s impressive camera capabilities and its excellent display.

A standout feature of the OnePlus 12 is the brand-new Sony LYT-808 sensor, developed in collaboration with OnePlus. This partnership ensures that the camera is not solely the work of Sony. The main camera is expected to outshine its competitors and will be accompanied by a robust 64MP 1/2.0″ sensor, featuring a telephoto lens.

The lens itself is crafted using an innovative cutting-edge process, further enhancing the telephoto unit’s performance. Referred to as a “periscope” telephoto camera, it promises a zoom range that surpasses the conventional 3x reach.

To ensure optimal image quality, OnePlus has enlisted the expertise of Hasselblad to fine-tune their cameras. Additionally, Oppo’s HDR and portrait-related technologies will be utilized for advanced image processing, resulting in stunning photographs.

OnePlus briefly touches upon the display in their teaser, dubbing it the “2K ProXDR display.” While more detailed information about the panel was previously shared by BOE a few weeks ago, it’s evident that OnePlus has prioritized delivering a high-quality display experience.

Although an official release date has yet to be announced, it is evident from the teasers that the OnePlus 12’s launch is imminent.
