Looking to breeze through LEGO Fortnite with ease, then Balloons are the way to go! Here’s a simple breakdown on how to snag and use Balloons in the game.

Types of Balloons

There are two kinds of Balloons in LEGO Fortnite – Small Balloons and Large Balloons.

Materials for Small Balloon:

  • 1 Silk Fabric
  • 1 Torch
  • 1 Cord

Materials for Large Balloon:

  • 2 Silk Fabric
  • 1 Torch
  • 1 Cord

Finding Balloons:

Head to the Toys section in your Build menu after creating Silk Fabric for the first time. To make Silk Fabric, unlock the Loom and use five Silk Thread crafted at a Spinning Wheel (get Silk by defeating spiders).

Unlocking the Loom

Upgrade your Crafting Table to Rare rarity (level three or higher) to unlock the Loom recipe. You’ll need:

  • 9 Flexwood
  • 8 Flexwood Rods
  • 6 Sand Claws Flexwood comes from cutting cactuses in the Dry Valley biome, and you’ll need a Lumber Mill to turn it into Flexwood Rods. Sand Claws are dropped by Sand Wolf enemies in the Dry Valley biome.

How to Use Balloons:

Once you have Balloons, consider pairing them with a Dynamic Foundation for smooth sailing. Craft a Dynamic Foundation in the Toys section of your Build menu using four Flexwood.

To take flight:

  1. Place the Dynamic Foundation on the ground.
  2. Hop on it.
  3. Attach one Large Balloon or a couple of Small Balloons.

To descend, add weight by placing a Chest filled with Wood on the Dynamic Foundation or bring some Wood with you. Using the Build menu, keep adding weight until you come back down.
