Path of Exile PoE Leveling Guide Act 1: The Beginning Steps
- Twilight Strand:
- Start by defeating Hillock at the end of the Twilight Strand.
- Lioneye’s Watch:
- Proceed to Lioneye’s Watch after Hillock’s defeat.
- Speak with Tarkleigh to claim your reward.
- Coast and Mud Flats:
- Head to the Coast and run to the zone’s end, grabbing the Waypoint.
- Enter the Mud Flats, collect Rhoa Nests’ glyphs, and open the exit to The Submerged Passage.
- Grab the Waypoint and proceed.
- Tidal Island (Optional):
- Optionally, return to the Coast Waypoint and enter Tidal Island.
- Defeat Hailrake, choose the Quicksilver Flask, and return to Nessa.
- Speak to Tarkleigh for your gem reward.
- Submerged Passage to Lower Prison:
- Return to the Submerged Passage using the Waypoint.
- Find the exit to the Ledge, grab the Waypoint, and proceed to the Climb.
- Navigate the Climb, enter the Lower Prison, and collect the Waypoint.
- Flooded Depths:
- Return to the Submerged Passage using the Waypoint.
- Find the entrance to the Flooded Depths and defeat the Deep Dweller.
- Logout and speak to Tarkleigh for the Book of Skill.
- Upper Prison to Ship Graveyard:
- Return to the Lower Prison using the Waypoint.
- Optionally search for the Labyrinth Trial.
- Find the exit to the Upper Prison and make your way to the Warden’s Chambers.
- Defeat Brutus, then logout or portal back to town.
- Speak to Tarkleigh for your gem reward.
- Ship Graveyard and Fairgraves:
- Go Back to Prisoner’s Gate and Enter the Ship Graveyard Map.
- Collect the Waypoint and find the Ship Graveyard Cave.
- Retrieve the Allflame, exit to the Cavern of Wrath, and collect the Waypoint.
- Defeat Fairgraves, then logout or use the Waypoint to return to Lioneye’s Watch.
- Speak with Bestel to receive the Book of Skill.
- Speak with Nessa for your gem reward.
- Caverns and Merveil’s Lair:
- Use the Waypoint to enter the Cavern of Wrath.
- Exit into the Cavern of Anger.
- Exit into Merveil’s Lair and defeat her.
- Southern Forest to Forest Encampment:
- Enter the Southern Forest and run through the zone until you reach the Forest Encampment.
