If you haven’t heard yet, Square Enix recently shared some news about NieR Re[in]carnation – the mobile RPG is set to bid farewell, with its final chapter scheduled to launch on March 28th. Players still have until April 29th, 22:00 PST, to enjoy the game before the servers shut down.

NieR Re[in]carnation’s Close After 3 Years

Launched on July 28th, 2021, the announcement of NieR Re[in]carnation’s closure comes as a surprise for fans of this beloved franchise, ending just shy of three years. As a parting gift, there will be a few events to savor for the last time, including the Countdown Resurrected Event Medal Exchange. This allows players to redeem characters, memoirs, companions, and weapons from previous Record and Variation event quests.

In their official statement, the game developers express their gratitude, saying, “We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our players for your patronage over the 2.5 years.” They assure players that until the end of service, additional content, characters, and various events and campaigns will be added. The hope is that players will continue to enjoy NieR Re[in]carnation until the final moments.
