Xiaomi made waves at a grand event in Barcelona, just ahead of MWC, where it introduced its latest flagship smartphones tailored for the international audience. The spotlight was on the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra, both powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets, stealing the show at the keynote. However, it’s worth noting that the Xiaomi 14 Pro remains exclusive to the Chinese market.

Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra Make Global Debut at MWC

Xiaomi 14:

Featuring a 6.36″ LTPO OLED display with a remarkable peak brightness of up to 3000 nits, the Xiaomi 14 boasts a stunning visual experience. With a resolution of 1200p and Gorilla Glass Victus protection, durability meets elegance. The device flaunts a revamped triple camera setup, headlined by three 50 MP lenses, offering unparalleled photography prowess. Notable improvements include a larger main sensor with an f/1.6 aperture and dual-pixel PDAF, alongside a slightly beefed-up 4,610 mAh battery supporting faster 90W wired charging, alongside 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging capabilities.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra:

Recently unveiled in China, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra impresses with a 6.73″ LTPO AMOLED display capable of reaching up to 3000 nits peak brightness. Protected by the innovative Shield Glass, the screen promises durability and clarity. The device features an upgraded main 50 MP camera with a variable aperture of f/1.6 and a new 1″-type sensor. Alongside a 5x telephoto camera and an ultra-wide-angle shooter, photography enthusiasts are in for a treat. Surprisingly, the European variant comes with a 5,000 mAh battery, supporting 90W wired charging, 80W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging, out of the box with Android 14-based HyperOS.

The Xiaomi 14 will be offered in Black, White, and Jade Green color options, with storage variants of 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB, starting at €1,000. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be available in Black or White, featuring a single storage option of 16GB/512GB, priced at €1,500. Additionally, both devices will come with complimentary screen repair services within the first 6 months of ownership.
