This time around, Qualcomm plans to introduce the highly anticipated Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.
The news comes straight from Qualcomm’s Chief Marketing Officer, Don McGuire, who spilled the beans in a video shared during the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC). Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Known Leak Specification
But before the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 steals the spotlight, Qualcomm is set to unveil another gem: a new chip from the Snapdragon 8 Gen series. Codenamed SM8635, this chip is rumored to pack a punch with a Cortex-X4 core running at 2.9GHz, coupled with the mighty Adreno 735 GPU to handle graphics-intensive tasks.
Manufactured on TSMC’s 4nm node, this chip is expected to deliver impressive performance, boasting an AnTuTu score of around 1.7 million. Positioned between the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Gen 3, this chip is speculated to be named either the Snapdragon 8s Gen 2 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Lite.
