eFootball, Konami’s football simulation game, is gearing up for its first collaboration with the popular sports anime, Blue Lock.
This collaboration will introduce limited edition uniforms inspired by the teams in the Blue Lock series. Through the Campaign Achievements, players can unlock rewards such as 90,000 Exp., 60,000 GP, 50 eFootball Coins, and much more!
Of course anime collab for a game is not new, but eFootball is one of the new and realistic football games, that is so much more interesting that it seems.
Blue Lock may not be widely known to Western audiences, but it has been a massive hit in Japan with its anime, manga, and even stage shows.
What’s intriguing is that instead of bringing anime characters into a relatively realistic setting, we’re seeing new team uniforms (albeit quite cool) and other cosmetics that fit into the eFootball world.
You can check out the exclusive trailer for the eFootball x Blue Lock collaboration to see everything that will be included in this upcoming partnership.
Although sports games are big business, you might be surprised to learn how popular esports is in the mobile world.
