What is Tycoon Racers?
Tycoon Racers shakes up the Monopoly GO experience with a thrilling team tournament. Similar to Partner Events, players must form teams of four and spend their first day collecting flag tokens scattered across the board. Once teams are formed, they will be randomly matched against three other teams after 24 hours.
The objective? Utilize collected flag tokens to roll special event dice. Each roll contributes to your team’s progress, with higher total dice rolls translating to more points. The ultimate goal is to outscore rival teams and secure top-tier rewards, including the coveted Wild Sticker.
In essence, gather flag tokens to roll event dice, accumulate points, and strive for victory in Tycoon Racers.
What Rewards Does Tycoon Racers Offer?
Tycoon Racers boasts both minor milestone rewards and placement-based rewards for teams. Milestone rewards include dice and additional flag tokens as players progress through laps on the Monopoly GO board. Placement-based rewards, awarded to all members of the winning team, are as follows:
- First Place: 2,700 dice, Wild Sticker
- Second Place: 750 dice, Purple Sticker Pack (five stars)
- Third Place: 375 dice, Blue Sticker Pack (four stars)
- Fourth Place: 125 dice
Monopoly GO – How to Play Tycoon Racer?
Currently in the testing phase, Tycoon Racers is accessible to players in the Philippines. Some players in the region have reported not receiving the event yet, prompting others from different regions to utilize VPNs to access it. If selected, the event should appear upon logging into the game.
While reports of the event triggering began on May 7, subsequent attempts to initiate it, even with VPN usage, have been unsuccessful for many players. It remains uncertain whether the event’s availability is time-limited or if Scopely is enabling it randomly for players.
As of now, Scopely has not disclosed plans for the wider release of Tycoon Racers in other Monopoly GO regions.
