Samsung is spreading the love with its latest One UI 6.1 update, and this time, it’s the mid-range models, Galaxy A73 and A33, that are getting the treatment.

The update for the Galaxy A73 is currently rolling out in Malaysia with build A736BXXU7EXDC. Coming in at 2.6GB, it includes the April 2024 security patch level. While it’s great to see the rollout begin, some may be disappointed by the absence of the May security patch level.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A33 is receiving its One UI 6.1 update in Singapore, tagged with build number A336EDXU8EXDD. Similar to its counterpart, this update is also over 2GB in size, so a stable network connection is recommended for downloading.

However, it’s worth noting that neither the Galaxy A73 nor the Galaxy A33 will be getting the Galaxy AI features introduced alongside the Galaxy S24 family earlier this year. These advanced features have been reserved for Samsung’s high-end models, leaving mid-range users out of the loop for now.

So, if you’ve been considering opting for a mid-range Samsung device instead of a high-end one, but had your eye on those Galaxy AI features, you may need to rethink your decision for the time being.
