Last December, Rockstar Games gave us the first look at Grand Theft Auto GTA VI, and the excitement has been building ever since. With fans eagerly awaiting its release, there’s finally a more specific launch window to look forward to in Fall 2025.

Despite some rumours suggesting a delay into 2026, Rockstar’s parent company, Take-Two Interactive, is confident in the Fall 2025 release. In their latest earnings report, CEO Strauss Zelnick assured fans that they are committed to this timeline, effectively putting the delay rumours to rest.

What We Know from the GTA VI Trailer Speculation and Updates?

The first trailer for GTA VI, set in the fictional city of Leonida, Florida, broke YouTube records with its view count. The trailer introduced us to the game’s main characters, Lucia and a male character who might be named Jason.

Ever since the game’s reveal, there has been a lot of speculation about its release date. Updates from Rockstar and discussions about their return-to-office policy have kept fans guessing. However, both Take-Two and Rockstar are determined to meet the Fall 2025 release target.

GTA VI is going to be released on PS5 or Playstation, and Xbox Series X/S, PC players, however, might have to wait longer. There’s no specific release date for the PC version yet. This is reminiscent of GTA V’s release, where the game launched on consoles in 2013, but PC gamers had to wait until 2015. Although the wait was long, the PC version turned out to be superior in many ways.

In the meantime, keep an eye out for any new trailers or announcements from Rockstar Games, so stay tune in GTA V release date and information.
