The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 is creating a lot of buzz as it gears up for its launch in India, expected around July or August. Recently passing the Indian BIS certification, the device has also been spotted on the Camera FV-5 platform, hinting at some exciting camera features.

Compared to the 12-megapixel camera of the Galaxy Z Flip5, this is a significant upgrade, promising better image quality and improved performance in low light.

Leaks suggest that the Z Flip6 will sport a larger cover display and a more robust hinge mechanism than its predecessor. The main screen is expected to be 6.7 inches, while the external display will be 3.9 inches, up from the 3.4 inches on the Z Flip5. A report by The Elec reveals that the Z Flip6 will have thicker ultra-thin glass (UTG) on its foldable screen, increasing from 30 microns to 50 microns. This 66.66% increase in thickness aims to enhance the screen’s durability, making it less prone to creases and improving its overall longevity.

The Galaxy Z Flip6 will be available in six colors: light blue, mint (light green), silver shadow, yellow, craft black, peach, and white. These diverse options will cater to different tastes, allowing users to choose a color that best matches their style.
