Realme Unveils New GT 6 Smartphone: A Detailed Look at Specs and Availability

Realme has reintroduced its renowned GT series to global markets with the launch of the flagship GT 6 smartphone. This marks a significant return after the recent debut of the budget-friendly GT 6T last month. Today, Realme unveiled the latest addition to the GT 6 lineup, offering an in-depth look at its specifications and availability.

The Realme GT 6 features a sizable 6.78-inch AMOLED Hyper display with a resolution of 2780 x 1264 pixels and supports a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Boasting an impressive peak brightness of 6000 nits, it is touted as the brightest display on a smartphone yet. The display is safeguarded by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, providing protection against drops and scratches.

Under the hood, the Realme GT 6 is equipped with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, complemented by an Adreno 715 GPU. It offers configurations up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, running on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 out of the box.

Realme introduces NextAI on the GT 6, enhancing the device with AI-driven capabilities such as smart object removal, night vision for video, and smart loop functionalities. With a robust 5,500mAh battery, the GT 6 supports rapid charging up to 120W. Realme claims impressive charging speeds, reaching 0 to 50% in just 10 minutes and fully charging in 26 minutes. However, wireless charging is not supported on this device.

The GT 6 is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, featuring a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens, and for selfies or video calls, there is a 32MP front camera.

In terms of pricing, the Realme GT 6 starts at €600 ($645 / Rs 40,999) for the base 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model is priced at €700 ($750 / Rs 42,999), while the top-end 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant retails for €800 ($858 / Rs 44,999). The smartphone is now available for purchase in European and Indian markets.
