Samsung Galaxy S25 Might Continue Using MediaTek Chip!

Today, a significant rumor from Samsung’s headquarters in Korea suggests the company is considering using MediaTek Dimensity chips for its upcoming Galaxy S25 lineup, slated for a January 2025 launch.

According to reports, Samsung is contemplating integrating MediaTek Dimensity chips, likely the Dimensity 9400, alongside Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and its own Exynos 2500. If this materializes, it could mean Samsung’s flagship phones might vary in processor depending on the market.

However, it’s crucial to note that this is still in the rumor stage. Samsung has not yet made a final decision, and discussions are ongoing. The potential shift is driven by concerns over Qualcomm’s rumored price increase for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and challenges with the yield rates of Samsung’s Exynos 2500.

Meanwhile, Samsung’s Exynos 2500 currently faces yield issues, with production rates around 40%, far from the 60% required for efficient mass production. Samsung aims to resolve these yield issues by August.
