Oppo is gearing up to unveil the Oppo A3 non-Pro in China on July 2, following the launch of the Oppo A3 Pro in April in China and a different variant in India last week. Teasing fans on Weibo, Oppo has released official images of the upcoming smartphone.
Oppo A3 Specification Information
The Oppo A3 shares a similar design with the Oppo A3 Pro but features a flat screen instead of a curved one. It will come in three color options: Mountain Stream Green, Aurora Purple, and Quiet Sea Black.
Scheduled for an official introduction on July 2 at 14:30 local time in China, the Oppo A3 boasts a slim 7.15mm profile and is touted to be very durable with a slightly curved frame for enhanced grip comfort.
While full specifications haven’t been fully disclosed by Oppo yet, details from China Telecom’s product library provide a clear picture. The A3 will sport a 6.7-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1080×2412 pixels. Its main camera is a robust 50 MP shooter paired with a 2 MP decorative sensor, complemented by an 8 MP front camera for selfies.
Powered by a 5,000 mAh battery, the phone will be equipped with either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 or Snapdragon 695 chipset. It will be available in three RAM and storage variants: 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB. Initial pricing is estimated to start around CNY 2,099 (approximately $288 USD).
