Redmi K70 was officially launched last November, but its anticipated sibling, the K70 Ultra, has yet to be announced.

Good news awaits as the launch of the K70 Ultra seems imminent. Wang Teng, Xiaomi China’s Deputy General Manager of Marketing and General Manager of Redmi, has started teasing the device on Weibo.

In his first teaser, Wang Teng revealed that the Redmi K70 Ultra will come with IP68 certification, ensuring dust and water resistance.

According to previous leaks, the K70 Ultra will be powered by the Dimensity 9300+ SoC and feature a “1.5K” resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate, promising smooth and clear visuals. Additionally, the phone will boast a 5,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.

Redmi K70 Ultra, IP68 Certified with Fast Charging

Fast charging support has already been confirmed through official certifications. Like its predecessors, the K70 Ultra is expected to be predominantly available in China but will serve as the foundation for the upcoming Xiaomi 14T Pro.

Following last year’s pattern where the Xiaomi 13T Pro was based on the K60 Ultra, both featuring IP68 certification, it’s no surprise that the K70 Ultra continues this trend.

With its IP68 certification and super-fast charging capabilities, the Redmi K70 Ultra promises to be a compelling choice. Stay tuned to Redmi China for further updates as the launch date approaches. Anticipated to deliver impressive performance and durability, the Redmi K70 Ultra is definitely worth waiting for!
