Samsung Galaxy A06 Comes with MediaTek Helio G85 SoC

Recently, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A06 made waves in the tech world after appearing on the Geekbench database. It’s set to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, the same processor found in its predecessor, the Galaxy A05.

Following this, the Samsung Galaxy A06 has now received certification from the FCC (Federal Communications Commission), shedding light on some key details. One notable revelation is its battery capacity, rated at 4,855 mAh, which translates to an advertised typical value of 5,000 mAh – mirroring the specifications of the Galaxy A05.

In terms of connectivity, the FCC certification confirms that the Galaxy A06 will support dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G LTE. However, it will not feature 5G capability due to limitations with the chipset.

Physically, the Galaxy A06 measures 167.3 x 77.31 mm in height and width, making it slightly smaller in size compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy A05. Although the thickness has not been disclosed yet, this difference in dimensions marks the first distinction between the two models.

As the Galaxy A06 continues its journey through certifications, more details are expected to surface soon. Stay tuned for updates on its features, specifications, and availability as they become available.
