vivo iQOO Z9 Lite A Familiar Face in a New Market

vivo is known for releasing the same phone under different names, and they’ve done it again with the iQOO Z9 Lite. This mid-range phone, powered by the Dimensity 6300 chip, is identical to the vivo T3 Lite and the vivo Y28s.

The iQOO Z9 Lite has been launched in India, where its counterparts are also available. The main difference lies in its availability: the iQOO Z9 Lite is exclusive to Amazon.

The phone features a 6.56-inch LCD screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate and an HD+ resolution. It sports an 8 MP selfie camera in a waterdrop notch, and on the back, you’ll find a 50 MP main camera with PDAF and a 2 MP depth sensor. The phone will be running on Funtouch 14 based on Android 14, the iQOO Z9 Lite comes with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 15W wired charging.

Available in Aqua Flow and Mocha Brown, the iQOO Z9 Lite offers 126 GB of storage with options for 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM. The pricing matches that of the vivo T3 Lite: INR10,499 ($125/€120) for the base model and INR11,499 ($140/€130) for the higher RAM variant.

Sales begin on July 20, and the iQOO Z9 Lite will be available for purchase on Amazon India and the iQOO India online store. In summary, the iQOO Z9 Lite is not a groundbreaking release but rather a rebranded version of existing models. If you’re in the market for a mid-range phone with solid specs, the iQOO Z9 Lite might be worth considering, especially if you’re shopping on Amazon.
