Best Active Skills for 8 Class in Dungeonborne

Below, we detail the top Q and E Active Skills for each class. Classes with multiple skill options will have brief explanations for the lower-ranked skills.

1. Cryomancer

  • Best Q Skill: Ice Storm
  • Best E Skill: Frostbite Barrier

Cryomancers use their Q skills for attacks and their E skills for debuffs or healing. Frostbite Barrier creates an invulnerable ice block that heals the Cryomancer, making it more effective than Ice Armor, which only offers a short-lived shield. Ice Storm is a powerful AOE attack that slows enemies, making it superior to Frostbite Curse, which targets a single enemy and lacks the slowing effect.

2. Death Knight

  • Best Q Skill: Soul Shroud
  • Best E Skill: Grasp of the Grave

Death Knights have two Q skills: Soul Shroud and Soulstorm. Soul Shroud is better due to its slowing effect and shadow damage, which scales with key stats. Grasp of the Grave, the only E skill, is highly useful for pulling enemies or allies and regenerates Soul Energy.

3. Druid

  • Best Q Skill: Primal Awakening (and Revert)
  • Best E Skill: Force of Nature (Elven Form), Shadow Assault (Panther Form)

Druids have different skills based on their form. In Elven form, Force of Nature summons a Treant for defense and attack, while in Panther form, Shadow Assault is used for leaping attacks.

4. Fighter

  • Best Q Skill: Whirlwind
  • Best E Skill: Charge (solo) or Inspire (team)

Fighters can choose between Whirlwind, an offensive spinning attack, and Battle Cry, a supportive skill. Whirlwind is preferred for its damage potential. For E skills, Charge is great for solo engagements, while Inspire boosts the team’s mobility.

5. Priest

  • Best Q Skill: Cleanse (team) and Divine Guidance (solo)
  • Best E Skill: Guard

Priests focus on healing. Divine Guidance is an AOE heal and damage skill, suitable for solo play. Cleanse is better for team play as it offers consistent healing. Guard provides a team-wide shield, making it more useful than Divine Protection for emergencies.

6. Pyromancer

  • Best Q Skill: Pyroblast
  • Best E Skill: Fire Blast

Pyromancers have fixed skills. Pyroblast can release homing fireballs or a large AOE fireball, while Fire Blast has a unique knockback effect, perfect for defensive counterattacks.

7. Rogue

  • Best Q Skill: Petrifying Poison
  • Best E Skill: Vanish

Rogues can choose between Petrifying Poison, which immobilizes enemies, and Quick Blades, which slows them. Petrifying Poison is more strategic for team play. Vanish offers a longer Stealth phase compared to Swift Concealment, making it more versatile.

8. Swordmaster

  • Best Q Skill: Psionic Blades
  • Best E Skill: Whirling Blade

Swordmasters have one Q and one E skill. Psionic Blades launches swords at enemies, but its reliance on extra swords can be limiting. Whirling Blade, which uses one sword, creates a spinning attack that is more reliable.

This tier list and guide should help you navigate the best Active Skills for each class in Dungeonborne.
