Top Yaolings in Yaoling Mythical Journey, Ranked

With hundreds of Yaolings to capture and use, this list includes those available up to around level 20. Keep in mind that this tier list is ongoing and will expand as we explore more of the game.

Each Yaoling’s tier is based on its basic attributes like ability, speed, and power. Evolution and unique talents can significantly impact their performance, so a rare Yaoling might perform better than expected depending on your play style and team needs.

S-Tier Yaolings

  • Ratzor (Moustrike): This assassin-type Yaoling excels in dealing high damage quickly but is often targeted by enemies. It can take out foes before they pose a threat.
  • Shelgun (Gunster): A reliable mid-range damage dealer, Shelgun’s Firing Squad ability summons allies to attack and distract enemies, enhancing its overall effectiveness.
  • Roslet: Known for its ability Whirling Blossom, Roslet boosts crit chance and crit damage for allies, making it a valuable asset in battles.

A-Tier Yaolings

  • Gigantiff (Masstiff): Ideal for front-line combat, Gigantiff’s Thunderous Roar hits multiple targets and boosts its damage output.
  • Poshell: The top choice for healing, Poshell combines solid damage output with the Arcane Molly ability to heal allies while damaging enemies.
  • Crabrock: A strong tank alternative, Crabrock’s FrostShell ability provides a protective shield that explodes for high damage.

B-Tier Yaolings

  • Tifur: Acquired by defeating the Lord of Flame, Tifur evolves into Khanger, known for its powerful ability to slam enemies together for massive damage.
  • Didi: In larger parties, Didi’s Grief ability can be fun and strategic, as it taunts enemies and disrupts their abilities.

C-Tier Yaolings

  • Kitzember (Cinderkit): A basic Yaoling with average damage and range, Kitzember’s fire damage special is decent but not exceptional.
  • Herbunny (Bunbow): Once a reliable long-range DPS, Herbunny is quickly outpaced by more advanced Yaolings like Duskat and Shelgun.

D-Tier Yaolings

  • Lumina (Lume): Lumina’s healing ability often proves ineffective when not paired with strong damage dealers, making it less useful overall.
  • Lavenfly (Laventot): Despite its ability to grant mana, Lavenfly’s overall performance falls short, making it less impactful in battles.

Best Yaolings to Level Up

These rankings reflect my experience with the game, and while some Yaolings might be rated lower here, they could still be valuable in your lineup depending on your strategy and team composition. Feel free to adjust your team based on personal preferences and gameplay style.
