Fallout London is an exciting total conversion mod for Fallout 4, allowing players to explore a brand new setting with unique challenges and characters. One of the best features of this mod is the in-game console, which lets you access various commands to enhance your gameplay experience. Here’s a handy guide on some useful console commands to try out while playing.

How to Access the Console

To open the console, you typically need to press the tilde key (the ~ key, located above the Tab key on most keyboards). However, on some setups, it might be the apostrophe key ('), found next to the Enter key. Once you’ve got the console open, you can start experimenting with different commands.

Essential Console Commands for Fallout London

Here are some classic commands that still work in Fallout London:

1. tgm

This command stands for Toggle God Mode. Using this command makes your character invincible, prevents ammo from decreasing, and keeps your Action Points from running out. It’s perfect for those tough battles.

2. tcl

Toggle Collision (TCL) is a lifesaver when you find yourself stuck in the environment. This command lets you move freely through walls and objects, helping you get out of tricky situations.

3. unlock

The unlock command is straightforward: it lets you unlock any door, container, or terminal. Just click on the object you want to unlock, type in the command, and you’re good to go. However, be careful not to use this too much, as it might allow you to access areas before you’re meant to.

4. player.advlevel

Want to level up quickly? This command lets you gain one level with each use, making it a great option for boosting your character’s skills in the new system introduced in Fallout London.

5. player.additem

This command is as useful as it sounds. It allows you to add any item to your inventory if you know the item ID. With so many new items in Fallout London, this command is essential for players looking to enhance their gear.

6. help

If you need to find the ID for an item, the help command is your friend. Type ‘help’ followed by the keyword of the item you’re looking for (like ‘help Lewis 4’ for the Lewis gun) to filter the results. Navigate through the list to find the item code, and use it with player.additem to add it to your inventory.

7. kill

The kill command allows you to eliminate any selected target. Just select the NPC or creature you want to kill, type the command, and watch them drop. However, it won’t work on characters tagged as ‘Immortal’.

8. resurrect

This command brings a fallen character back to life. Like the kill command, you need to select your target first. Be cautious with this one, as it can sometimes cause issues with quests if used on important NPCs.

These are just a few of the console commands you can use in Fallout London. Keep in mind that because this mod changes many base game files, not every command you might expect to work will function correctly. For instance, the command TMM 1, which typically reveals all map locations, does not work in this mod. Always remember to save your game before using these commands, as they can lead to crashes or unexpected behavior.
