Dydia Honor of Kings, The Newest Support That Could Steal Gold
In the latest update for the Chinese server of Honor of Kings (HoK), a new support hero named Dydia has been introduced. Dydia stands out as a support character with a unique skill set that blends speed, luck, and the ability to steal gold from enemies. She is also known as Augran’s girlfriend, a character familiar to those who have been following the game’s lore.
Dydia Skill Honor of Kings HOK Explanation
Passive – Enhanced Basic Attack
Dydia’s passive skill is quite special. Every time the bar beneath her mana is full, her next basic attack gets a boost. This enhanced attack not only deals magic damage but also knocks back enemies. The damage scales based on both her physical and magic attributes. The cooldown for this passive ranges from 6 to 7.5 seconds but can be cut by 50% if Dydia’s skills hit an enemy or ally.
Skill 1 – Pink Spirit Blessing
Dydia’s first skill lets her control a pink spirit, which she can send towards an ally. The ally marked by this spirit receives a luck buff for 5 seconds, granting them healing and increased movement speed if they move close to each other. This skill can be cast twice to mark two different allies. Interestingly, if you simply press the skill without aiming, it still heals the ally. If the analog stick isn’t moved, the skill also gives a bonus blessing.
Skill 2 – Blue Spirit Curse
Her second skill involves a blue spirit that targets enemies. This spirit poisons the enemy, dealing damage over time and applying a magic damage bonus at the end of the duration. Additionally, the enemy loses some gold. The skill can also slow down enemies if they are close to each other. Like her first skill, you can also press this skill to stun and deal bonus damage directly.
Ultimate – Dual Spirit Assault
Dydia’s ultimate is a powerful area attack that sends both the pink and blue spirits into action. This skill combines the effects of her first two skills on a larger scale. Enemies hit by the ultimate suffer stronger poison effects, while allies receive more significant healing. It also instantly triggers the passive effects of her first two skills, making it easier for Dydia to chain her abilities together.

Dydia is a fascinating choice for players who enjoy playing support roles with a mix of speed and strategy. Her ability to heal allies, steal gold from enemies, and control the battlefield makes her a strong addition to any team. However, mastering her requires good timing and positioning. We’ll have to wait and see when Dydia will be available on the global server, but she certainly has the potential to shake up the support meta in Honor of Kings.
