Tales of Terrarum Tier List September 2024
Tales of Terrarum Best Characters
S+ Tier
- Bev: Bev is one of the strongest support characters. She can heal, buff damage, and even cleanse stuns. Her abilities become more powerful when her allies are low on health, making her a great match with characters like Takiki and Ansha.
- Amelia: Amelia stands out as the top support in the game. She can buff, resurrect allies, and debuff enemies effectively. If you’re serious about high-level PvP, she’s a character you might want to reroll for.
- Chloe: Chloe is a top-tier physical damage dealer (P. DPS). Her ultimate ability grants her crowd control (CC) immunity, and she can inflict various types of CC herself, making her very powerful in both PvE and PvP.
- Takiki: Known for her incredible damage output, Takiki specializes in taking down enemy damage dealers. She has CC immunity, bonus damage, and lifesteal, making her a formidable adventurer in the game.
- Bell: Bell’s ultimate provides lifesteal, physical damage, crit bonuses, and more. He also reduces enemy energy regeneration, which is crucial for late-game PvP.
- Victoria: Victoria is a powerful P. DPS character. Her ultimate does huge damage and boosts her stats for 10 seconds. If she defeats an enemy, she can use her ultimate again, and she also has crowd control abilities.
- Merilyn: As the strongest tank in the game, Merilyn can taunt enemies, boost her defense, and protect her allies by healing and shielding them. She is essential for competitive play.
S Tier
- Vivian: Vivian excels at debuffing enemies and can silence them while also reviving herself once per battle. Her skills make her a valuable asset in many situations.
- Angel: Angel is the best pure healer in the game. While her damage output is low, her healing is unmatched. Upgrade her later in the game when you need strong healing.
- Fernandes: Fernandes is a decent healer with damage-over-time abilities. However, he doesn’t specialize in either role enough to be top-tier.
- Kay: Kay is a solid P. DPS who handles single enemies well. He’s less effective in the early game but becomes more useful as you progress.
- Agnus: Agnus is a mage tank who can deal damage and reflect attacks. He lacks self-sustain compared to others but is still a viable choice.
- Cecilia: Cecilia deals damage to all enemies and applies burn, while also buffing other mages. She’s great on teams that focus on mages.
- Vera: Vera is an exceptional epic support who boosts ally damage, restores HP and energy, and grants CC immunity. Her rarity makes her impressive.
- Ansha: Ansha becomes incredibly powerful when leveled up. Her passives provide lifesteal and stat boosts when her HP is low, especially if you can shield her.
A Tier
- Morris: Morris is a mage healer who can cleanse debuffs and heal or shield the team. He’s a good option until you get a top-tier healer.
- Duncan: Duncan is a support shooter who regenerates energy and boosts other characters’ attack. He’s useful, especially compared to lower-tier damage dealers.
- Yuli: Yuli is a solid DPS with the ability to stun enemies and give herself buffs. She’s handy against enemies with crowd control abilities.
- Viretti: Viretti can remove buffs from enemies and lower their magic defense. She’s useful early on but less so compared to mythic adventurers.
- Tormund: Tormund is a hybrid tank and DPS. His ultimate can deal massive damage, but it’s often spread across multiple targets, balancing out his effectiveness.
- Denisa: Denisa is a melee DPS who can bypass enemy defenses with her ultimate. She’s useful against tanks like Merilyn in PvP.
B Tier
- Jeno: Jeno can confuse enemies, causing them to attack each other. However, many top characters can counter this ability, making him less effective against meta teams.
- Melody: Melody is good at finishing off low HP enemies. While she regenerates her HP and gains bonuses with each kill, other characters also rely on finishing blows, which can make her less unique.
- Skobian: Skobian deals physical damage and can reduce enemy defense. However, he lacks the damage or utility to be a top pick.
- Paul: Paul can summon wolves for extra damage and confusion. However, aside from confusion, he doesn’t offer much else.
- Carol: Carol’s anti-heal and damage-over-time effects are useful against enemies with lifesteal. But, most meta teams have ways to cleanse these effects.
C Tier
- Aiden: Aiden’s taunt is useful for a frontliner, but he’s not as effective as other elite adventurers.
- Taylor: Taylor has good crowd control abilities but is held back by weak stats.
D Tier
- Robin: Robin provides basic DPS but lacks other useful abilities. He’s not recommended unless you have no other options.
- Snow: Snow deals solid magic damage and debuffs enemies but lacks enough utility to be a top choice.
