Virtual Youtuber Amelia Watson, part of the popular group HoloMyth under the agency Cover Corp, announced she will be ceasing her Youtube channel activities. The news was delivered in Youtube and fellow Myth member Calli address it, about how she feel about the whole situation. Calli mentioned Amelia will be continuing for 10 more days before officially ending her channel activity.
Amelia was part of the founding five members of Myth and her departure has been a shock to many fans. The reason for her leaving was not clearly addressed by Calli who stated, “I don’t even really fully understand so I’m not really in a position to like clarify what she said.” Calli did assure fans that Amelia, “is not becoming staff” and encouraged them to “look at the pinned comment” for more information from Amelia herself.
While expressing her sadness over Amelia’s departure, Calli said, “I want her to do what she wants to do and what feels right for her.” She acknowledged that Amelia is a pioneer who has “pushed through trials” and her contributions will not be forgotten. The future of Myth will be a change for fans but Calli assured everyone that, “Myth is five people it is and always will be five people.”
