AUT A Universal Time Guide, Superpowers and How to Obtain Them?

In the latest Roblox A Universal Time (AUT) update, a new progression system called Subpowers has been introduced, offering players the chance to enhance their abilities further by adding secondary moves or utilities. This system allows players to build more dynamic and personalized movesets, opening up endless opportunities for creative and strategic gameplay. In this guide, we’ll cover what subpowers are, how to obtain them, and the key details about each subpower currently available in the game.

What Are Subpowers?

Subpowers are essentially sub-specs that players can add to their existing abilities. They function as additional skills that complement a player’s current moveset, giving you the freedom to customize and expand your combat style. Subpowers can include anything from extra offensive moves to utility-based enhancements, allowing for diverse playstyles.

Subpowers are unique to each ability, meaning that unlocking a subpower for one ability doesn’t automatically grant it for other abilities. However, once unlocked for an ability, the subpower can be used across multiple copies of that same ability.

Weight System

Each subpower has a specific weight, and players are limited by a maximum weight threshold. While there is no strict limit on the number of subpowers you can equip, you can’t equip subpowers that exceed the total weight capacity for your character. The weight system forces players to strategize, balancing power with versatility.

Stages and Progression

Subpowers can level up through stages, with a maximum stage of 5. As you progress, the subpower’s potency increases—whether it’s more damage, longer stun times, or other enhancements. To level up your subpowers, you’ll need to earn points, which are gained by defeating NPCs while your subpowers are equipped. Higher stages require more points to level up.

Important Notes About Subpowers

  • Haki Conversions: Busoshoku Haki, Kenbunshoku Haki, and Haoshoku Haki have been converted into subpowers. Any stages and colors from before the update have been ported over, but players will need to reacquire their Haki points.
  • No Compensation for Previous Points: While your Haki stages are preserved, past points spent on Haki rerolls are not compensated. For now, rerolling Haki colors is disabled, but this feature may return in a future update.
