Fisch Brine Pool Guide Fishing Guide, All You Need to Know
Fishing in Fisch‘s Brine Pool is a unique and challenging experience, thanks to the toxic green waters and rare fish that inhabit its depths. To fish here effectively and complete the Desolate Deep bestiary, you’ll need specialized equipment and a bit of knowledge on how to tackle the environment. In this guide, we’ll explain the steps required to fish in the Brine Pool, the specific rod you’ll need, and how to obtain it.
Fisch Brine Pool Guide, Fish, Rod, & Essential
1. The Reinforced Rod
To fish in the Brine Pool, you can’t rely on just any rod—you need the Reinforced Rod. This specialized fishing rod is the only one durable enough to withstand the harsh, corrosive waters of the Brine Pool.
Here’s how to get it:
- Where to Find It: The Reinforced Rod can be purchased from an NPC trader located in The Desolate Deep.
- How to Get There: To reach The Desolate Deep, you’ll need to dive into underwater caves near Sunstone Island. The specific coordinates to look for are (-791, 132, -3102.8). Dive underneath the island using the Basic or Advanced Diving Gear. We recommend diving during the daytime to avoid getting lost in the pitch-black waters.
2. Diving Gear
Before you can get the Reinforced Rod, you’ll need to have the right diving gear to explore the underwater caves. There are two types of gear available:
- Basic Diving Gear: Found at Moosewood near the Shipwright, it costs 3,000C$. It will help you get started with basic diving.
- Advanced Diving Gear: You can find this gear in the ocean at the coordinates (-786, 132, -3102), floating on a buoy. Alternatively, you can buy it in The Desolate Deep from the Maverick Merchant for 15,000C$.
Once you have the diving gear, dive into the ocean, and keep going until you reach The Desolate Deep. As you dive deeper, you’ll eventually see a warning sign—keep going past it and head left to enter a narrow tunnel. At the end of the tunnel, you’ll find The Desolate Cave, where the NPC trader is waiting.
3. The Reinforced Rod Stats and Fishing
Now that you have the Reinforced Rod, equip it and get ready to fish in the Brine Pool! This rod is specifically designed to handle the tough conditions in the Brine Pool, and its stats reflect its strength.
- Lure Speed: 0%
- Luck: 25%
- Control: 0.05
- Resilience: 0%
