The FISCH Roblox update introduces an exciting opportunity to snag the new Relic Rod—a unique fishing tool with decent stats that caters to early-game players. This guide walks you through acquiring the Relic Rod by collecting prehistoric fish bones scattered across various islands. If you want to jump into this adventure right away, here’s everything you need to know.

Step 1: Meet Dr. Finneus

Begin your journey at Moosewood, where you’ll encounter Dr. Phineas near a crane boat. He introduces the mysterious Ancient Isles and challenges you to collect 10 prehistoric fish bones from different islands. While you don’t need to talk to him to start fishing for bones, returning to him is essential for progressing in the quest.

Step 2: Locate the Prehistoric Fish Bones

The bones are scattered across multiple islands. Here’s a breakdown of where to find them:

  1. Moosewood:
    • Fossil Fan
    • Claw Gild
    • Barracuda Spine
  2. Roslit:
    • Spine Blade
    • Hex Mutation Shark Fang
    • Spine Bone
  3. Forsaken Shores:
    • Ancient Serpent Spine
    • Ancient Serpent Skull
  4. MushGrove:
    • Nessie’s Spine
  5. Snow Cap:
    • Spined Fin

Fishing at these locations is straightforward—just cast your line and wait to reel in the required items. Note that bones do not have location labels in your inventory, so keeping track of where you found each is essential.

Step 3: Claim Your Reward

Once you’ve collected all 10 bones, return to Dr. Phineas. He will reward you with a handwritten map and an ancient code. The map points to a small island located between Snow Cap and Mush Grove. Sail to this island and locate the gate where you’ll enter the code. To unlock the gate, press the buttons in the correct sequence as shown on your map. Once the gate opens, descend into the cavern to claim your Relic Rod. The rod costs 2,000 in-game currency.

Relic Rod Stats and Uses

The Relic Rod is a balanced beginner rod with the following stats:

  • 15% Lure Speed
  • 50% Luck
  • 15% Resilience
  • 0% Control
  • Maximum Weight Capacity: 2,000 kg

While it isn’t the most powerful tool in the game, it offers solid performance for new players and is a fun addition for collectors.

The quest to obtain the Relic Rod adds a touch of exploration and mystery to FISCH. While its stats are geared towards early-game players, it’s a limited-time item worth obtaining for its novelty. If future updates enhance its functionality with passive abilities, it could become a standout item.
