A Dusty Trip Guide How to Find Magical Hammer
In the latest update for A Dusty Trip, players can unlock the highly anticipated Magic Hammer weapon. While it promises to be a unique addition to your arsenal, the process to unlock it requires a bit of effort and luck. This guide will walk you through the steps needed to obtain the Magic Hammer and give you an idea of what to expect from this new weapon.
A Dusty Trip Guide How to Find Magic Hammer
Step 1: Finding the Blacksmith
To begin your journey toward unlocking the Magic Hammer, the first step is to locate the Blacksmith. This NPC spawns on the Desert map, so make sure you’re playing there.
While you can attempt to search for him on other maps, he will only be found on the Desert map. Once you’re on the Desert map, jump into your vehicle (preferably a car or plane for quicker traversal), and start driving around.
You’ll need to cover significant distances—sometimes up to 10,000 meters—before you might come across the Blacksmith. Don’t be discouraged if he doesn’t show up right away. The spawn is relatively rare, but it shouldn’t take too long if you keep your eyes peeled.
Step 2: Accepting the Quest
Once you locate the Blacksmith, talk to him, and he will offer you a quest. To complete this quest, you must collect three Golden Ingots. These special items are scattered across the map in various buildings.
However, finding them is no easy feat—Golden Ingots have a rare spawn rate and might take several attempts to locate. Historically, they had a one-in-500,000 chance of appearing, but with this update, they should be a bit easier to find.
Explore different buildings, particularly those that tend to have higher loot chances, such as the Firewatch Towers or bathrooms. Keep searching, as the Ingots are a crucial part of the quest.
Step 3: Collecting the Golden Ingots
As you explore, you’ll find Golden Ingots in various buildings. However, unlike before, where the chances were astronomically low, these should now be more frequent. Still, it might take several stops at different buildings before you can find all three Golden Ingots
. Once you’ve found the first Ingot, be sure to store it in your backpack—keeping the items on your car is risky, as they can be destroyed if other players attack you or if your car flips. Once all three Golden Ingots are safely secured in your backpack, you can begin your journey back to the Blacksmith.
Step 4: Returning the Ingots
After collecting all three Golden Ingots, you need to return to the Blacksmith to complete the quest. Drive back to the 1,000-meter checkpoint where the Blacksmith resides. This will be a lengthy journey, but it’s important to ensure that your Golden Ingots stay safe during the trip.
If your car is destroyed or you fall off the map, you’ll have to start over, so try to be cautious. Once you reach the Blacksmith, stop your vehicle and approach him with the Golden Ingots. Simply drop the ingots in front of him, and the Magic Hammer should appear in your permanent storage.
Is the Magic Hammer Worth It?
The Magic Hammer is a fun and unique addition to Dusty Trip, but it’s not necessarily the most powerful weapon in the game. While the weapon is free-to-play and a permanent addition to your inventory, it’s important to weigh the effort required to obtain it against its usefulness.
Finding three Golden Ingots is a lengthy and somewhat tedious process, especially considering their rare spawn rate. The hammer itself is not the strongest weapon in terms of damage output, and there are faster and more efficient ways to defeat enemies.
