Starting your journey in Jujutsu Infinite can seem overwhelming, but once you understand the basics of progression, leveling up, and mastering your abilities, the game becomes much more enjoyable. Whether you’re just beginning or aiming to become a top-tier sorcerer, this guide will walk you through everything you need to know to progress from a novice to a powerhouse.
1. Leveling Up: Your Path to Power
Leveling up in Jujutsu Infinite is a straightforward process that revolves around completing quests and missions that reward you with XP and other valuable items. As you level up, you’ll unlock more abilities, stronger enemies, and access to higher-level quests. Here’s how you can level up efficiently:
To begin your progression, head over to the Mission Board located at Jujutsu High School. Here, you’ll find a list of quests that you can accept. These quests will reward you with XP, currency, and useful items. To start, simply interact with the Mission Board and choose a quest that fits your level. You can teleport directly to your quest location by pressing “J” on your keyboard or using the corresponding button on mobile devices.
While missions are a primary source of XP, there are other ways to level up, especially early on. Finding talismans scattered around the map can give you a helpful boost in the early stages of the game.
2. Rooms: Group Up for Raids
As you progress in Jujutsu Infinite, you’ll be able to join rooms, where you can team up with other players for more challenging content. To enter a room, look for a red circle with the name of the room you wish to enter. When you enter, a countdown will start, indicating when you’ll be teleported to the raid or area.
Rooms allow up to 10 players, and currently, the Zen Forest Wave Room is the only raid available. Participating in rooms is a great way to tackle tougher enemies with the help of others, while also gaining valuable rewards and XP.
3. Missions: Key to Fast Progression
Missions are the bread and butter of leveling up in Jujutsu Infinite. There are various types of missions, each with unique objectives and challenges. Here’s a breakdown of the most common missions you’ll encounter:
Exorcise Enemies
- This is the most basic and effective quest for farming XP. You’ll be tasked with eliminating a set number of enemies listed in the quest. These enemies can be found throughout the map, and completing this mission is a quick way to level up.
Capture Point
- In this mission, you must capture a specific point while fending off waves of enemies. As you capture the point (about 24% at a time), enemies will spawn to try and stop you. You must defeat these enemies to continue the capture process.
Kill Curse User
- Here, you’ll face off against powerful Curse Users. These enemies are more advanced than standard NPCs, so they require careful planning and strategy to defeat.
Defeat Enemy
- In this mission, you’ll be tasked with defeating one of the game’s bosses. Boss battles are challenging but rewarding, offering high XP and loot drops.
Destroy Structure
- In this mission, you must destroy a structure while defending yourself from waves of enemies, including Curse Users. These missions can be challenging, so make sure you’re prepared for the fight.
Escort Star Plasma Vessel
- You’ll need to deliver the Star Plasma Vessel to a random destination while defending it from Curse Users who will try to stop you. This mission requires both combat skills and strategic movement.
Investigate Cursed Building
- Enter a cursed building and clear out all the enemies inside, including Curse Users. This mission requires strong combat skills and is a great way to earn XP and loot.
4. Grades: Advancing Your Rank
As you progress in the game, your Grade is an important indicator of your strength. You begin as a Non-Sorcerer, unable to complete high-level missions. As you collect more items and grow stronger, you can talk to The Strongest NPC located at Jujutsu High School to level up your Grade.
To level up your Grade, you will need to give The Strongest a specific amount of money and items, usually boss drops. Once you’ve paid, your Grade will increase, unlocking higher-level missions and tougher challenges. Advancing your Grade is essential for taking on the most difficult content in the game.
5. Mastery: Unlocking New Moves and Abilities
Mastery is a crucial part of your progression in Jujutsu Infinite. Mastery is tied to cursed tools and innate techniques, which are required to unlock new moves. By equipping weapons or innate abilities, you can track your mastery progress and level.
Unlike regular leveling, you can’t increase your mastery from regular quests. Instead, you’ll gain mastery boosts by completing missions. There are two types of mastery boosts: regular mastery boosts and super mastery boosts (note that they don’t stack). Additionally, certain in-game items can provide mastery boosts to help you level up faster.
Mastery is crucial for unlocking new abilities, and as you level it up, you’ll become more powerful, gaining access to advanced moves and techniques.
Progressing from zero to hero in Jujutsu Infinite is an exciting journey that involves completing quests, leveling up, and mastering your abilities. Whether you’re taking on basic missions to farm XP, challenging powerful Curse Users, or working your way through raids and boss battles, every step you take brings you closer to becoming a legendary sorcerer. Remember to focus on leveling up through the Mission Board, advancing your Grade, and building your mastery to unlock new abilities. With dedication and strategic gameplay, you’ll rise through the ranks and dominate the Jujutsu Infinite world.
