Beast Force Update 0.6 Guide, Codes & Key Features!

The long-awaited Beast Force Update 0.6 has finally landed, bringing several major gameplay adjustments, additions, and a slew of improvements. From a reworked Fortitude system to new faction perks, there’s a lot to explore. This guide will break down all the major changes in the latest update, including the new roles, gameplay mechanics, and some exciting features that await you in the world of Beast Force.

All Game Changes in Beast Force Update 0.6

1. Global Fortitude and Boss Spawning

One of the biggest changes in the Fortitude system is its adjustment to a Global Fortitude mechanic. This means that monsters will no longer spawn instantly near players. Instead, they now spawn at designated locations, adding a layer of strategy as players will need to be aware of where these creatures appear. Once the Fortitude reaches 10, a boss will automatically spawn. The boss will appear at a set location (e.g., Isao). Defeating all monsters spawned from Fortitude leaves behind flesh or remains, which are collected by the Sweeper unit to gain Beast Parts.

2. Adjusted Roles and Extraction

The update introduces significant changes to the roles players can take on. There are now two primary units that players can control: the Defense Force Unit and the Sweeper Unit.

  • Defense Force Unit: Players in this unit do not gain any rewards from collecting remains. Their main objective is to clear waves of enemies in order to make way for new ones. To earn points, they need to defeat monsters inside the combat area and extract them in the usual way.
  • Sweeper Unit: This unit is for players looking to obtain Beast Cells and Beast Parts. While playing as a Sweeper, players can collect remains to randomly obtain Beast Parts. However, there’s a tradeoff: players in this role cannot transform into Kaiju.

3. Beast Cell Changes

In the previous version, Beast Cells were easily obtainable, and many players exploited methods to gain them quickly. The developers have adjusted this by requiring players to craft Beast Cells. This change means that defeating bosses no longer directly grants Beast Cells. Instead, players will need to collect Beast Parts as specified by NPCs and craft the Beast Cells from those.

4. Gun System Adjustments

The previous click-based system for guns was problematic, especially with the current gameplay theme. The updated system introduces a hitbox mechanic, improving accuracy and fluidity. This change is aimed at making the game feel more consistent and balanced with the new mechanics.

5. Global Faction System

An exciting end-game feature introduced is the Global Faction System, which becomes available to players who have maxed out all stats. Players can now choose a faction to join, which offers unique benefits based on the faction. However, during pre-alpha, players are unable to reset their faction choice. The factions and their respective passives are as follows:

  • Kaiju Force: The Leacher passive grants a 50% chance to lifesteal during Kaiju Form M1 attacks.
  • Defense Force: The Reload passive gives a 15% chance to restore ammunition during Human Form M1 attacks.

6. Progression System Tweaks

The progression system has also been adjusted to ensure players don’t complete it too quickly. The system has been reverted to the original version, making it more difficult to level up once reaching level 30 and above. Defeating bosses is now a crucial way to speed up progression.
