What Is Enchanting in Fisch?

Enchanting is a game mechanic that enhances your fishing rods by adding special modifiers. These modifiers can affect a rod’s performance in various ways, from increasing lure speed to improving your chances of catching rarer fish. Enchantments are applied through the Keepers Altar, located beneath the Sovereignty Mines, and can be done using Relics, which are rare items that apply random enchantments to rods.

Enchantments will appear with a colored prefix in your inventory, and the details of the enchantment will be displayed above your hot bar when equipped, giving you a clear indication of what effect your rod is now under.

How to Enchant Your Fishing Rods

  1. Obtain a Relic: Relics are rare, single-use items that can be obtained by fishing in The Depths or by purchasing them from Merlin for 11,000 C$. There are two types of Relics:
    • Enchant Relic: Can be used to apply a random enchantment.
    • Exalted Relic: More powerful, offering access to Exalted Enchantments.
  2. Head to the Keepers Altar: Located under the Statue of Sovereignty, the Keepers Altar is where the enchanting happens. The altar is only active during the night.
  3. Apply the Relic: Use the elevator to descend to the altar and interact with the pedestal. This will consume the Relic and apply a random enchantment to your currently equipped rod.

The chance of receiving a specific enchantment is based on the type of Relic used:

  • Enchant Relic: There are 23 regular enchantments, each with an equal chance of being chosen (1/23).
  • Exalted Relic: There are 7 exalted enchantments, each with an equal chance of being chosen (1/7).
