Legends of IdleOn can be an exciting, yet overwhelming game for beginners. With its massive world, numerous mechanics, and plenty of upgrades, getting started can feel like a challenge. However, with the right guidance, you’ll be breezing through World 1 in no time. Whether you’re new to idle games or a seasoned player, these 10 essential tips and tricks will help you maximize your progress, save time, and avoid common pitfalls.

1. Start Producing Thread ASAP for XP

One of the best ways to gain experience for your characters early in the game is by producing thread. Simply click on the Anvil and navigate to the Produce tab, where you’ll find thread production. This is fast and effective, and you should make it a priority with all of your characters, especially those not focused on crafting other materials. Upgrade your tools, such as the Infinity Hammer or Hammer Bubble, to stack your production rate for even faster XP gains!

2. Level Up Your Stamps and Statues Early

At level 14, you’ll unlock Mr. Piggy Bank, an NPC that stores and upgrades your stamps. The best stamps to level up during World 1 are Accuracy and Defense stamps, which can be purchased from the World 1 shop. These provide crucial early game bonuses and will help you progress faster. By level 22, you’ll unlock Statues, which also provide significant stat boosts. Make sure to deposit all statues onto your primary character to maximize their impact.

3. Utilize Party Dungeons for Early Progression

Party Dungeons are unlocked on the Frogs Map, and they are a fantastic source of XP, talent points, and weapon power bonuses. These dungeons will give you access to some of the best early game upgrades, including:

  • Accuracy Percent
  • Weapon Power
  • Talent Points for Star Talent Tabs

Additionally, grab the Elk Twist Rings for a huge defense boost (7 defense + 2 upgrade slots per ring). Prioritize these upgrades early on to solidify your progress.

4. Unlock and Farm the Owl for Huge Buffs

Head to the Orange Mushrooms Map and climb the rope to find the Owl NPC, which is an idle game within an idle game. By grinding this section, you can unlock fantastic buffs such as:

  • All stat boosts for damage, accuracy, and drop rate
  • Base damage and damage percentage increases
  • Skill and class XP boosts

Although it’s time-consuming, unlocking the Owl is a great investment in your progression. Don’t skip this side quest!

5. Farm Walking Sticks for XP and Money

On the Slimes Map, unlock the portal leading to Walking Sticks. These mobs drop useful materials that can be sold for a quick profit, and they also drop the Bullseye Statue, which gives an Accuracy Percent bonus. The Walking Stick mobs are great for farming XP and money until around level 50. You’ll need 225 accuracy to hit 100% accuracy on these mobs, so be mindful of your stats as you progress.

6. Join a Guild for Massive Benefits

Being a part of a guild in Legends of IdleOn provides numerous bonuses that can significantly enhance your gameplay. These benefits include:

  • Increased drop rate
  • Skill efficiency boosts
  • Carry capacity
  • Weapon power and AFK gains

Look for a guild that is either maxed out or one that you can help grow. Contributing to a guild’s success will give you valuable rewards as you progress through the game.

7. Boss Quests Unlock Daily Keys

At the end of World 1, you’ll gain access to Boss Quests, which reward you with one boss key per character per day. These keys are vital for boss farming, and starting early with these quests will give you a head start in the game’s later stages. If you achieve holding 200,000 Platinum, you’ll unlock the ability to collect boss keys from the quick menu.

8. Craft Amarock Gear for Your Characters

The Amarock Gear set is one of the most effective armor sets, and it remains useful well into World 4. It provides solid stats and defense, making it ideal for progressing through the early game. Craft Amarock gear for multiple characters, but don’t waste time crafting the gear unless it’s for specific characters. Don’t spend excessive time mining and chopping in the early game; progressing through worlds will make it easier to gather materials later on.

9. Use Hemoglobin for Extra Survivability

The Hemoglobin star talent is a must-have for improving your survival chances, especially in the later stages of the game. This talent heals you for a percentage of your max HP every time you kill a monster. It also works offline, which is a huge bonus for AFK grinding. Use HP Potions to make this talent even more effective during manual battles.

10. Create Two of Each Class for Maximum Efficiency

Each class in Legends of IdleOn brings unique benefits for both skilling and monster farming. It’s crucial to have two of each base class to fully leverage their capabilities and ensure that you don’t miss out on any potential advantages later in the game. Start with the Warrior class for fast progression. Warriors become even faster as you advance to higher worlds, and they can save a lot of time early on.

By following these 10 tips (and a few bonus ones), you’ll be well-equipped to tackle the challenges of World 1 in Legends of IdleOn. Keep progressing, and remember: it’s all about balancing your activities, upgrading strategically, and making smart choices to optimize your gameplay.
