Adopt Me! is bringing a Valentine’s update for the first time in six years, and it’s packed with exciting features. Players will be able to collect a new event currency, unlock special Valentine-themed pets, and participate in unique in-game activities. Cupid Dragon
The Cupid Dragon is the star of this update. This legendary pet will cost 1,000 Robux and won’t be available for direct purchase in the shop. Instead, players will need to find a special letter that appears randomly on the ground.
Once you collect the letter, a Cupid Dragon will arrive, and you’ll need to interact with it by collecting hearts and following it around. After showing it enough love, the dragon will fire an arrow that drops love heart currency for players to collect. This system makes obtaining the Cupid Dragon more interactive compared to regular shop pets. Since it’s a limited-time Valentine’s pet, it will likely be unavailable after the event ends.
Love Bird
For those who don’t want to spend Robux, the Love Bird pet is available by collecting Love Heart currency and spending it in the event shop. The exact price hasn’t been confirmed, but this rare pet will be earnable entirely for free.
New Currency – Love Hearts & How to Get Them
The event introduces a new temporary currency called Love Hearts, which can be collected in two ways:
- Cupid Dragon’s Arrows – When the Cupid Dragon shoots an arrow, Love Hearts will drop on the ground. Players must collect them before they disappear.
- Collecting Roses – Roses will bloom daily on Adoption Island, and there will be eight roses to find per in-game day (every 20 minutes). Each rose collected gives 20 Love Hearts, meaning players can earn up to 160 Love Hearts per in-game day.
With so many ways to collect currency, players can expect Valentine-themed items in the event shop, though the details on those items haven’t been fully revealed.
How Long Will the Event Last?
This Valentine’s update will last for two weeks, making it one of the longer limited-time events in Adopt Me!. The developer hinted that more pets or items could be added in the second week, though nothing has been confirmed yet.
This update is a huge surprise since Adopt Me! hasn’t done a Valentine’s event in six years.
