In Verse Piece, passives play a crucial role in enhancing the strength of your character’s traits. These passives can make a significant difference to your damage output and overall performance in the game. In this guide, we’ll break down what passives are, how you can roll them, and compare their impact on your damage. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, understanding passives will give you a major advantage in Verse Piece.
What Are Passives & How to Get Them?
Passives are essentially buffs for your traits in Verse Piece. They work similarly to enchants but are specific to the traits of your character. By rolling for a passive, you enhance the power of that trait, giving you a significant boost in various aspects of gameplay. The passive system allows you to level up your traits and unlock powerful advantages.
To roll for a passive, you’ll need to find a specific NPC in Kakura Town. However, before you approach this NPC, make sure you have Corrupted Tickets in your inventory, as these are required for rolling passives.
Corrupted Tickets are dropped by Corrupted Bosses that spawn on Lost Island. This island is home to the 5-minute bosses and serves as the location where you can encounter these Corrupted Bosses.
However, if you want the quickest way to collect Corrupted Tickets, head over to Run’s Island. Here, you can trigger a Corrupted Boss Rush Dungeon, which is an effective and efficient method to farm these tickets.
Types of Passives and Their Rarity
Passives come in different levels of rarity and strength. Here are the levels you can roll:
- Weak
- Strong
- Decent
- Insane
- Godly
- Impossible
As you can imagine, higher rarity passives are much rarer to get but provide much stronger bonuses compared to the lower rarity ones.
Passive Comparison: Damage Output
Let’s take a look at how each passive impacts your damage output, using a Monarch Trait and Contractor Race setup for testing. The following damage values are based on an M1 attack:
-
No Passive: Damage without any passive equipped is 535K.
-
Weak Passive: With the Weak Passive equipped, damage increases slightly to 553K.
-
Strong Passive: The Strong Passive provides a bigger boost, resulting in 579K damage on an M1 attack.
-
Decent Passive: Equipping the Decent Passive brings a more significant increase, with 587K damage on an M1 attack.
-
Insane Passive: The Insane Passive results in 666K damage, showing how much stronger this passive can make your build.
-
Godly Passive: With the Godly Passive, damage skyrockets to 642K on an M1 attack.
-
Impossible Passive: The Impossible Passive is the rarest and most powerful, providing a 678K damage boost. This passive is incredibly difficult to roll, but when you do, it can be game-changing.
Passives are a vital aspect of Verse Piece that can significantly enhance your character’s power. Rolling the right passive can make a huge difference in your damage output, and with the rarer passives offering even greater advantages, it’s definitely worth investing time in collecting Corrupted Tickets and grinding for them.
Remember, while the Impossible Passive is the hardest to roll, it provides the greatest rewards. Keep farming, and don’t be discouraged by the grind—over time, you’ll maximize your character’s potential!
