The Secret Garden event is back in Cookie Run Kingdom, and it’s time to transform your board into a beautiful garden of peace and healing. In this event, you’ll build your Secret Garden using sugar gnomes by placing and merging blocks on a grid. Inspired by the warm light of pure vanilla cookies, the goal is to merge blocks up to level 12 while strategically managing your board space. Although I wasn’t a fan of the event at first, I’ve learned some effective strategies that can help you maximize your rewards and enjoy the event to its fullest.

Event Overview and Objectives

During the Secret Garden event, you’ll use coins to place blocks randomly on a board. The basic mechanics are simple:

• Placing Blocks: Use coins to place a block on a random tile.
• Merging Blocks: When two blocks of the same level are adjacent, tap or drag one block on top of the other to merge them and increase their level.
• Progress Saving: Your progress is saved even if you exit the event, so you can take your time to plan your moves.
• Game End: The event ends when there are no more blocks left to merge on the board. Your final score and level determine the rewards you earn, including special items like the Light of Absolute Truth.

In addition to the standard merging gameplay, you can complete Secret Garden missions to earn extra rewards. Items such as the Slam and Hammer (crafted from Rock Sugar), Gnome Blueprint, and Choco Rewind provide additional tools to correct mistakes and improve your board’s layout.

• Spam and Merge: My best strategy is to quickly spam placing blocks until your board fills up. Once there are no more available spots, then connect the blocks. This helps open up spaces for new blocks.
• Board Management: Pay attention to where you’re placing blocks. You can choose to focus on the center of the board or work along the edges—experiment with both approaches to see which yields higher-level merges.
• Use Your Items Wisely: If you make a mistake, don’t panic. Use the Choco Rewind to undo errors, or the Slam and Hammer to clear blocks and open up space. The Gnome Blueprint can mark ideal spots for placing a new building.
• Plan Ahead: Always keep an eye on the next block that will appear. Position your current blocks so that when a new one is placed, it can be easily merged with an adjacent block of the same type.
• Stay Flexible: If you find yourself stuck merging everything together, switch back to spamming blocks. Sometimes, creating a new board layout is the best way to keep the momentum going.
