Adopt Me has kicked off an exciting two-week Valentine’s event, bringing plenty of new content, including adorable pets, accessories, and exclusive items. While we’ve already been introduced to the Cupid Dragon and the Love Bird, a new pet is making its way to the game in Week 2 of the event – the Valentine Rat! If you’re eager to get your hands on this special pet, here’s everything you need to know to catch it.

What is the Valentine Rat?

The Valentine Rat is a new addition to the Valentine’s Day update in Adopt Me. Unlike the usual pets available in-game, this one comes with a special twist. It’s an adorable rat with a cute heart-shaped nose, pink heart-shaped ears, and a tail that some might find a little creepy. Despite the tail, this rat is quickly winning the hearts of players because of its unique and festive design.

How to Get the Valentine Rat?

To obtain the Valentine Rat, you’ll need to follow a similar method to previous updates where players had to catch pets using special items, like the Hummingbird or Bees. Here’s how it works:

1. Head to the Valentine’s Day Stand: In the game, head to the area where Mayor Amanda has set up shop. This is where all the Valentine’s Day-related updates are taking place.

2. Purchase a Heart Disc: To catch the Valentine Rat, you’ll need to buy a Heart Disc. This item is available at the Valentine’s Day stand, and it’s used to summon the pet. The item may look like a heart-shaped disc or cookie, though the exact appearance is still to be confirmed.

3. Throw the Heart Disc: Once you’ve got your Heart Disc, throw it in the game to attract the Valentine Rat. The pet will appear, and you’ll be able to add it to your collection.

Just like other pet updates in Adopt Me, there’s a possibility that the Valentine Rat could come in multiple versions. We’ve seen similar updates in the past where pets have different variations, such as the Golden, Diamond, or Albino versions of other pets.
