How to Become a Shinigami

When you spawn as a Soul, your journey begins with a few simple steps. Here’s how you can transform into a Shinigami:

1. Starting as a Soul:

• Upon spawning, press J to reveal all available quests in Karakura.
• Take the only quest available. Completing this quest will initiate your path to becoming a Shinigami.

2. Avoid Becoming a Hollow:

• Be careful! Every two minutes, a segment of your chain breaks.
• If your chain breaks completely, you will transform into a Hollow instead of a Shinigami.
• It’s essential to keep an eye on your chain to avoid this fate.

Unlocking and Activating Shikai

Once you’ve become a Shinigami, you can unlock and use Shikai, your first major power as a Soul Reaper. Here’s how to unlock and activate Shikai:

1. Shikai Obtainment:

• To unlock Shikai, you must reach Level 15.
• Once you hit level 15, take the quest titled Shikai Training from Urihiro. This will allow you to begin your Shikai journey.

2. Activating Shikai:

• As you engage in combat (by dealing or taking damage), your rage bar will gradually fill.
• Once the rage bar is full and pulsating, press Y to activate Shikai.
