Anime Adventures Tier List March 2025 New Unit Update!
Meta Ground Units
Meta ground units are strong, but not necessarily the best in their category. They are still viable and can perform well in different situations.
Toji
- Damage Output: Around 700K
- Weakness: No AoE and cannot receive buffs
- Verdict: Despite his high damage, Toji is slightly held back due to being a true damage unit, meaning he cannot benefit from buffs. This makes other units more appealing in comparison.
Meta Hybrid Units
No major changes in this category from the previous update. However, some units benefit from new support buffs.
Alucard & Ans
- Strength: Great synergy with summon buffs
- Verdict: These units have become more valuable thanks to support buffs that enhance summon-based characters.
Must-Have Support Units
Support units are crucial for maximizing damage output and team performance.
Hakari
- Effect: Buffs crit-based units like Tengen and Stain
- Damage: Minimal
- Verdict: Hakari is not a damage dealer but is essential for boosting crit-based units, making him a must-have for certain team compositions.
Gazelle
- Effect: Buffs summon units
- Verdict: Since several strong summon-based units were added in this update, Gazelle is now one of the best support units. However, the exact percentage of the buff is still being debated.
Rukia
- Effect: Freeze effect and enemy debuffs
- Weakness: Interferes with time-stop mechanics
- Verdict: While not a direct replacement for Homura, Rukia is a great budget option, especially for leaderboard players.
Must-Have DPS Units
These are the top-tier damage dealers in the game.
Sasuke
- Strength: Best burn and ground unit
- Verdict: Continues to dominate the tier list, outperforming many other DPS units.
Guts
- Strength: Still powerful, but power creep is affecting him
- Verdict: Unique Guts users may argue he should be higher, but overall, he is slowly being outclassed by newer units.
Demon Human
- Stats:
- 500K damage
- 13 SPA
- 50 range
- Large AoE burn
- Verdict: While some players believe he may not be that strong, his stats suggest he is incredibly powerful. Further testing may be needed, but he remains a solid pick.
Alysia
- Strength: High damage, single target, and summon-based abilities
- Weakness: Low SPA and range
- Verdict: A controversial unit—some consider Alysia one of the best, while others think they are not worth using. However, their summons and additional abilities give them some value.
Megumi & Mahoraga
- Strength: Adaptation buffs and defense abilities
- Verdict: Megumi is a unique unit, as Mahoraga never despawns and constantly scales with Megumi’s stats. This makes him one of the best investment units for long-term fights.

Understanding Unit Types: Ground, Air, and Hybrid Units
In Anime Adventures, units can be classified into four main types: Ground, Air/Hill, Hybrid, and Support. Understanding the roles and limitations of each type is essential for building an effective team.
- Ground Units: These units have powerful damage potential but cannot target air units. They excel at dealing high damage to enemies on the ground.
- Air/Hill Units: These units can only be placed on hills, making them less flexible. However, they can target flying enemies, which gives them a niche role in certain battles.
- Hybrid Units: The best of both worlds, hybrid units can target both ground and air enemies, making them the most versatile and powerful units in the game.
- Support Units: While not as focused on direct damage, support units play a crucial role in enhancing the abilities of other units. They offer buffs, healing, and debuffs, making them invaluable in long-term strategies.
Unit Grades and Game Modes
Units in Anime Adventures come in different grades, from Secret and Mythical (the strongest) to Epic and Rare (the weakest). The higher the grade, the more likely the unit is to be meta-relevant. The game offers multiple modes to test your strategies:
- Infinite Mode: A hard mode with endless waves of enemies, perfect for testing the strength of your team.
- Story Mode: The primary mode where you progress through different anime worlds, collecting items and XP.
- Raid Mode: A challenging mode where you can fight enemies for valuable rewards like gems and shards.
In Anime Adventures, the key to success lies in building a balanced team of strong, versatile units. By focusing on top-tier units from the S and A tiers, you can maximize your effectiveness in battles. However, don’t discount the utility of support and hybrid units, as they often provide critical buffs and debuffs that can turn the tide of combat. As the game evolves and new units are introduced, keep an eye on the tier updates to stay ahead of the competition.
