PAR Tribe Nine Patimons Guide, What, Where & How!
Endgame gear grinding in Tribe Nine demands efficiency and the right tools. One of the most essential items for this stage is PAR. If you haven’t started using PAR yet, you might be missing out on a huge boost to your equipment and overall performance. This guide will walk you through what PAR is, where to get its recipe, how to craft it, and the best practices for using it effectively.
Understanding PAR and Its Importance

PAR is a vital item for obtaining powerful, craftable gear at the endgame. By using PAR, you can transfer important substats to a T8 patimon obtained in Fractal Viice or on C8 padam mods. This process is essential if you want to keep your character’s specific skill substats intact, which do not drop naturally on T8 patimons.
Remember, every use of PAR will reduce its remaining usage, as indicated by the gold meter on the left side of your character. Before you can craft PAR, you need to secure its recipe. Follow these steps:
- Locate the NPC: Purchase the recipe from NPC Beroro, who can be found at the Shinagawa City Hotel B1 Lounge.
- Cost and Requirements: The recipe typically costs around 1 million. Note that you might need to beat Chapter 2 before you’re allowed to purchase it from Beroro.
How to Craft PAR

Once you have the recipe, you’re ready to craft PAR. The materials required are:
- Digital Energy Food G: This can be obtained by compressing a Gold patimon or by crafting it with Digital NG Food M, which you get by compressing Purple patimons.
- Technical Tape: This is crafted using specific boss material drops.
With these components, you can create PAR to begin upgrading your patimons.
How to Use PAR Effectively
Using PAR is straightforward but requires careful selection to maximize its benefits:
- Select the Right patimon: Equip a patimon that already has the desired substats. When you activate PAR, one of these substats has a high chance of transferring to a new T8 patimon.
- Monitor Your Usage: Every patimon rarity used with PAR consumes a portion of its remaining usage. High-rarity drops, such as T8 purple or blue patimons, will use up more of your PAR’s capacity.
- Substat Transfer Details: The transferred substat always appears in slot one of the new T8 patimon. Keep in mind that you cannot obtain a higher substat than what your original patimon possessed. For instance, using a T6 patimon with a critical damage multiplier of 4+, moving speed of 3, and attack of 2 will transfer these substats to the T8 patimon—even if the T8 version has better main stats, the substat tier remains based on the original item.
- Limitations: The highest rarity you can obtain in substat slots one and two is gold, while slot three tops out at purple. This means that achieving a gold rating in the third slot isn’t currently possible.
Testing and Observations
Recent tests have shown that even when swapping out patimons for better main stats, the substats transferred by PAR remain consistent with the original patimon’s qualities. For example, when using PAR on a Mew with substats like critical rate 4+, attack 4+, and support 3, the transferred substat always appears in slot one of the resulting T8 patimon. This predictable behavior helps in planning your upgrades and ensuring that you’re not overspending resources on items that don’t deliver the stats you need.
PAR is a powerful tool in Tribe Nine that can make a significant difference in your endgame gear grind. By purchasing the recipe, gathering the right materials, and understanding how to use it effectively, you can transfer valuable substats to your T8 patimons and maintain your competitive edge. Use this guide as a reference to maximize your PAR usage and improve your overall gameplay. Stay dedicated, experiment with different strategies, and watch your gear transform as you climb the ranks in Tribe Nine.
